Welcome to Y Bwthyn 2025, your curated collection of outstanding crochet, high-quality needle felt, and exceptional, quirky art. This is the online home for three independent crafters in West Wales, united by a passion for high-level technique and adorable design. We believe that art should be personal and every gift should be memorable. That’s why you'll find a wide range of styles and creations here—from delightful decorative talking points for your home to gifts and cards to suit all pockets. Within our evolving collection, you will discover cats, hares, dragons, octopuses, reflections of nature, sculptural plants, and so much more!
Whilst we share a studio space online, each item is handmade with an individual artistic vision.

Charlie Kenobi - Calm Krafts
Based in Aberystwyth, I create remarkably lifelike yarn art, specialising in everything from intricate Bonsai to anatomical insects. As a tutor for courses and workshops across West Wales, I blend technical expertise with a meditative teaching style, helping others find "inner peace" through the therapeutic art of fiber.
Wendy Foulds - Creative Cats by Wendy
I am a mixed media Welsh artist based in Aberystwyth, originally from North Wales, creating colourful illustrations of animals – especially cats – and local Welsh scenes. Using acrylics, pastels and gel pens, I love layering texture and vibrant colours.
Jane Campbell - The Crafty Cambrian
I make sculptures from wool using barbed needles. Based in Old Goginan, my inspiration is drawn from the wild beauty of Wales, nature, animals and folk lore. Each piece I create reflects a deep connection to heritage and heart.
